Are We in the End Times?

Are recent events a fulfillment of the prophecies in the Book of Ezekiel? I provide some thoughts.

My takeaway from this is that we should ALL live our lives as though we are in end times. Get as right with The Lord as you possibly can. Repent and turn your entire life over to Christ. Learn and meditate upon the God Breathed Scriptures. The Scriptures will guide you in His ways. Rely on the Holy Spirit and pray always and often.

Thank you for this insight. I never really bought the claim that Father God had brought His people back- it was a Rothschild. But then I know that He hardened then changed the heart of the pharaoh 🤷🏻‍♀️

1948 is important in the prophetic scheme but not as a standalone fulfillment.

Ezra and Nehemiah document the first return (from Babylon, primarily). This return played out over many years. The first wave began under Zerubabbel in 536 BC and was succeeded by additional waves, even to the time of Ezra in 455 and Nehemiah in 445.

Likewise, the second/final return began in the late 19th century, was greatly provoked by WWII, and has continued to this day. 1948 is important (as are 1967 and 1973, among others) because God worked miracles to give victory to Israel. It was the 1948 declaration that caused Israel's neighbors to attack, but if not for that attack, God could not have displayed His miraculous works of protection over His people.

Although they are there now in unbelief, this is according to Ezekiel 36-37. The prophecy is that God will cause them to return to the Land, though in unbelief, and then, during the Trib/at the SC, will give them His Spirit.

God will fulfill His promises to ethnic national Israel because He cannot break His covenant with Abraham (Genesis 15:18, 22:16-18, 26:3, 28:12-16; Deuteronomy 30:3-4; Ezekiel 36:21-28; Luke 1:30-33; Acts 15:14-18, Romans 11:25-27). If God can break His covenant with Israel, can you be sure He won't let you slip forever from His hand? Jeremiah 31:31-37 -- Why not take this in it's natural reading?
