Heidi, this is so beautiful! I'm a knitter and I'm finding learning to crochet challenging, but I'm watching your how to series so I can now single crochet!

My Grandmother and Mom used to make these. I regret never learning to. I can crochet...so I'm going to try it!

Love the Rose pattern. My daughter started crocheting a couple of years ago. She would love to get into something more inticate like this. Thanks for taking the time to show this pattern. 🌞💓🌹

My Mom used the #10 crochet cotton and made each of her 6 kids a bedspread in this pattern. I love mine❤❤❤.

I have one of these. We bought a place and so much stuff came with it. One of these Irish Rose Square hot pads was in the stuff. I saved it.

I had been thinking about this pattern lately. My Daughter had one with the burgundy rose. The background was warm grey. It was used often. I learned to crochet very young from my grandmother. Mostly doilies and handkerchief edging. Beautiful pillowcase edgings. The threadbare pillowcases are packed away in her cedar chest. The old chest is filled with beautiful things that she and her aunts made. It’s the journey not the destination. I always think about that when I see these heirloom pieces. Thank you for sharing Heidi 💕

This is so gorgeous, Heidi and I love your colours❤ The Irish rose is my favourite motif. I used to make them in very fine crochet cotton and I put a pearl on the centre. The pearl of great price! That's how everybody recognised my work. I'm definitely putting this on my bucket list. Now off to print the pattern. Thank you so much. Beautiful job. BTW I finished my patchwork skirt 😊 and every time I wear it I say God bless Heidi and the others who helped me too! Xxx
