Scoring a 2nd goal as they announce your name from scoring the last goal (while the whole arena cheers) is such a flex. Tavares’ revitalized game has been so fun to watch this season.

I feel really bad for the Buffalo Sabres fan base. Eichel, Reinhart, Dahlin, Power, Quinn, Cozens, and Mittelstadt have all been drafted by this team, and players like O'Reilly, Hall, Kane, and Montour have passed through during the last 8 years. All this just to be in the exact same spot you were 8 years ago.

Levi had some great saves at the end of the 2nd and in the third. Unfortunate that Matthews didnt score, he was all over the ice tonight generating many chances

Sabres 10 game losing streak has included 7 games they led, 3 of which they had mutli goal leads, 2 of those in the 3rd period. Just wondering what sort of lead they will need to a win a game. Joke of an organization.

Congrats JT. If we were to discount our two tremendous goalies (Stolarz/Woll), and our defensive core, I would say that the one line that kept us going while Matthews and half the starting 12 forwards were injured was Taveres, Marner, and William. A much deserved hattrick for our older stalwart and former captain!! Gotta love to see it :D :D

I feel like Buffalo always shows how good they can be (like really, i still feel like the ceiling for this team is around top of the league) but they just never get it to keep their level a whole game through
