Also, they say that they will catch on fire and explode but the Gas Cars have more chance to catch on fire and explode than EVs.

It’s just parallel, Tesla drivers will have to pay for batteries and motors to be replaced sometime and petrol car drivers will have to pay for engine, drivetrain, gearbox, transmission, clutch, brakes

The battery will be replaced a few years past the 8yr warranty most likely they don’t last forever and it will be expensive and questionable to actually replace it on a car 10 years old or older as all other parts and wiring are the same age.

I dont care about BMW. I dont like Tesla. For their cars, their company policies and Elon Musk. Just recently here in germany at the mandatory car inspection the Model 3 was in the statistic for the first time. It had by a long shot the highest failure rate at 15%. Next worse EV was the Renault Zoe with 7%. Worst combustion engine was some Dacia with 11%. Theyre just building bad cars. Dont care if its electric or whatever.

I googled it because I didn't know that a Tesla Y battery will last 500, 000 miles or 35 years. However the *warranty*
is for 8 years or 100, 000 miles.

Funny how your saying only 3% of model Y batteries have ever been replaced on a car that is a 4 years old. And a engine/trans isn’t no $20, 000. In contrast your Tesla probably won’t be worth putting that much money into when you need a battery replacement because I assure you it’s not going to happen during the 8 year warranty.

Eh, $4500 transmission, $3500 engine replacement cost in my Pontiac, vs $20k battery. Even if that battery lasts 400k miles, I’m still coming out ahead
