In today’s video I’m going to take you thrifting into a Goodwill store that just opened in my area. I will show you some fun and interesting things I saw while thrifting as well as a small haul at the end of the video. I hope this video gives you some "Thrifting Inspiration”! :)

There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive second hand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

I have a very similar cedar chest that was my grandmas. Granddad gave it to her for her birthday right before he left for WWII.

No matter what you buy, I enjoy watching and listening to your videos! My own favorite finds include a vintage Lefton Santa mug, some jadeite bowls, and lately some green uranium glass plates. I am also enjoying a simple little black wooden basket that I filled with lemons for a summer display. Everyone likes different things, and that's why it's fun to watch what other people find and decorate with!

My most favorite find was a Bose radio/ CD player. Works and sounds great!! I think I gave $8 for it. I found it several years ago, and have really enjoyed it. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!!

My favourite thrifted item I bought at an outdoor market. A young man was selling all sorts of items. I asked him about a china fox, which I put down and started to walk away from. He called after me and reduced the price saying, “please It’s my mother in laws and I don’t want to take it home”. I laughed and waved at him and walked on. He reduced it two thirds in price so I went back and relieved him of the piece. It turned out to be a pitcher and it’s a red fox sitting among blackberries by Fitz and Floyd. Not old but collectable and quirky. On the drive home I saw a real red fox running in the field. I have loved it ever since. It’s sits on the hearth with flowers and is charming.

I loved the Snoopy clock even if it didn't work, use it as decor. I also loved the divided clear glass plates with the base beneath it. 🥰🌼🌻👍

My favorite items weren't actually thrifted but rather what someone threw out due to the passing of a loved one. The first is an old floor model radio. The other is an Optigan. Pretty nice finds just to be driving by. I pray when I pass that my children won't throw my stuff out. As always, love your finds and your channel. TFS.

Jessica, I have gotten so many amazing finds over the years. Some of my most prized are a beautifully made jacket from the Seminole tribe and on another trip a Seminole hand made skirt. I paid under ten dollars for each. I recently saw an almost identical jacket on Ebay for 350 dollars. But I wouldn't take anything for either one. Also found a sweetgrass basket for 50 cents. Love it.

I have also just thrifted a coffee canister. It’s china with a bamboo texture exterior and green leaf lid with coffee written on the outside. Again quirky and cute.

My favorite thrift haul is this old unique wooden oval mirror frame with an open design of hand carved wooden leaves. It did cost $20 and I painted it /replaced the missing mirror. It took the place of plastic mirror in my downstairs bath and fit the decor so well. I don't know why but I find the shape of leaves so beautiful. In a previous video you mentioned trying reselling items. I had thought of that too but I'm not tech savvy enough and was afraid it might be a negative experience for me. I don't remember why you stopped? Your videos are enjoyable. Since I just shop for myself, it is nice to watch someone who is just shopping for themself and showing there plan for the item(s).
