Having Razer from the Green Lantern Animated series was a hell of a curve ball. Great read for the lantern corp at the moment with another strong title john stewart war journal too.

I didnt realize Avengers Twilight was an out of continuity series or i would've got it, but i can still get it in trade. Noncanonicals are my favorites! They usually have the best writing, and they usually keep the same artist for the series.

Well, i will complain now, but you asked what am I fed up with.
Events! That's one of the reasons noncanonical comics are my favorites. They dont have events.
I'm really enjoying Ult Spider-Man and Ult Xmen. And Im enjoying a lot of Dawn of DC titles. In both cases, these good stories will probably turn to crap as they do a convoluted over the top badly written quickly drawn event.

One day i will probably get so angry about events that i will quit this habit cold turkey and just never go back to my lcs.

Immortal Hulk was a popular run, i really enjoyed it. No event!

Awhile back there was a good Eternals series....well, it was good until the AXE event....that was so bad i couldn't finish reading it. Chip was writing a great Daredevil series, but then the boring Daredevil event happened and tanked the series. I was able to finish reading it, but it wasnt as good. Last summer, Dawn of DC was ROCKIN! Then the momentum was killed with the Knight Terrors Event.
Banner of War? How can the Hulk and Thor be boring? Put them in an event.

That's enough ranting. I'll shut up now.

Since you are relatively new to comics, you should read Geoff Johns' run of Green Lantern books if you want go9d Hal Jordan stories - The Sinestro Corps War, Rage of the Red Lanterns, Blackest Night, and few other storylines reinventing the color spectrum of the Lantern universe. Fun read with beautiful art from a few artists of thst period.

Bro I agree with you and it’s been happening for years with comic runs, it always gets interrupted by events but it’s all about money haha.

And dude I’m YET waiting for you to read more of Geoff Johns Green Lantern run. Not just for love Hal but everyone else in the corps, it’s so much fun. Love your picks man.

ASM has been on my pull only because its ASM....It has been an awful run. We need a totally new creative team on the book and a new direction. There were cool parts of this story that Zeb Wells created but it's been way too inconsistent and the art has been bad. That's a hard thing to say for a legend like JRJR but it's just not good.

The only thing I have kept up with lately. Has been the current Spiderman 2099 run. I’m still a few issues behind but I enjoy the story thus far.

When it comes to the stories I have stopped keeping up with. I don’t know anything About the krakoan Age of X-men, besides the Comics Explained Audio commentary of the stories. I think I’m going to let it all pass me by, it is way too much to keep up with.
