If u want it to dry immediately sprinkle with baking soda. Then sand as u normally would without having to wait. Learned this from a military guy.

Prefer wood glue with saw dust, don't like how hard and brittle those ca glue spots are.

Just use wood glue and sawdust it takes stain better too

You can also pack the crack with the dust and then apply a thin c.a.

I was trying to fill cracks on a piece and found it sanded terribly and stayed cloudy and always stuck out after it was finished. I'm sure I'm an idiot and messed it up but is there a step between the cracks fill and whatever finish u follow up with

I did that for balsa parts for a RC plane where I made fillets on each joint to add structure.
