How I Set Sudoku: Lerroyy

We're delighted to share this bonus video with you in which the setter Lerroyy talks through how he set the puzzle Kashmir (which appeared on the channel a couple of weeks ago). This sudoku took Simon well over an hour to solve and it contained a lot of original logic.

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. In cages, digits must sum to the small clue in the top left corner of the cage. Digits cannot repeat within a cage. Along the indicated diagonal, digits cannot repeat.

Great insight. I watched Tyrgannus video before this and he talked about how a setter is trying to solve something that doesn’t exist. I love how Leeroy started with a unique premise and built a whole puzzle about it with the constraints he wanted in place.
