Valkyire is actually a good thriller that we already know what happens but the movie makes it seem that the outcome could be different. Really good.

It needs to be pointed out that many of Cruise's stunts are inspired by James Bond. Without a doubt, he is looking at Bond and taking that franchise's best stunts and setting out to do them better. For instance, that motorbike jump off a cliff, and the subsequent base jump was already done by two stuntmen (B.J. Worth and Jacques “Zoo” Malnuit) doubling as Bond in Goldeneye. It's right there in the first ten minutes of the film. Bond rides off a clifftop and freefalls after a pilot-less plane. Cruise just did the base jump himself and off a higher mountain. He is also driving a car while handcuffed to Hayley Atwell, which Brosnan did on that bike with Michelle Yeoh in Tomorrow Never Dies. Then that train hanging off a broken bridge, believe it or not, was done in animation by James Bond Jr in the 90s. And the fight on top of the moving train is taken from both Octopussy and SkyFall. This does not take anything away from Cruise because Bond also takes cues from other movies. They all do. In fact, Cruise's drive to take Bond's best stunts and make them even better is smart. The only way forward for Bond now is to find a stuntman who is suave and can act.

Grace when you went through the supporting actor list choosing 'hidden gems' it reminds me a lot of the movie Money Ball where they built baseball teams from what appeared to be cast-off players but had talent for 'getting on base'.
