For anyone interested, I work in his hometown of Aiken. I talk to him every other day and he’s in great spirits. Not in the best shape health wise but the man is 60 and played in the NFL in the 80’s so… but as many times as I’ve seen him, he’s never been anything less than jolly.

The best block for a score in history. The refrigerator. I'm not a bears fan, but that was awesome

I would love to visit him someday I hope he can remember me. He gave me some advice that as a young man I listened to him and remember his words of wisdom. I had a 52 year successful career

I was a little kid in northern England in the 1980's none of us knew anything about American football, but we all knew the name of william the fridge Perry.
He was also the big jigsaw picture on the back of the panini stickers we used to collect (even though American football wasnt popular, collecting the cards was, for some reason) and I've still got mine.
I wonder if they're worth anything?
Anyway, I'm glad hes still around. Believe me it's quite something to because famous as far and wide as to a small nondescript northern town in England haha👍

For those born atter 85, may I present the 21 century version of ... William "the REFRIGERATOR" Perry. Give O and D line players a chance, then watch the hurt.
