You'll find very quickly that graded or sealed is the only way to go. Otherwise you end up losing lots of quality space with boxes on boxes of junk. Most shops will only give $1-$5 per 1, 000 cards so seriously not worth space or time. Id rip out any and throw the rest back in the boxes and relist for for super cheap.

In my indoor glass cases at the antique and flea markets. The old baseball cards are selling great. I bought a box of 1990 Upper Deck from Lonnie NSOT. I sold 13 of the 36 packs and im $5 in the profit. I only price them at $2.25 and i only put 13 out the first time. Pokemon sells Awesome too. I get the 3 cards to a pack at Dollar Tree and Family dollar. I lot them up and sell 2 packs for $5.95. Pays rent, steady.

From what I can see so far it looks like your best pickups are going to be the 2001 Topps Baseball Factory Sets. Those should get you about $100 each.
