As you all were talking, I was listening as you were droning on and on until you mentioned food in New Jerusalem. My ears perked up! Five years ago I lost the ability to eat solid food due to a bout of throat cancer. I used to love food. I loved trying out new recipes.

While I miss eating real food, the taste and textures of it, I am still a very happy and healthy person. Do not feel badly for me there are many advantages to be had. I save a ton of money on groceries. I never have to stress over planning meals. I never have to worry abut food spoiling. I don't have to worry about overeating. Thanks to the cancer and new diet, I have lost a little over 100lbs.

I tell everyone(jokingly) you will know me on Rapture day, I'll be the guy with a turkey leg in each hand. Yes, I am looking forward to meeting Jesus in the air, to stepping into eternity with Him, being reunited with my family that preceded there and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb! Oh wat a day...!
