for future reference, I believe most dyes and activators react very poorly to metals, that's why they say don't mix in a metal bowl. next time maybe try it without mixing with silverware and you may get better results.

It just seems strange that you are keeping tabs on her “lazy parenting patterns” if you don’t agree or like how she parents, you don’t have to watch or even comment. And if you do comment could you give some support or suggestions that are helpful….there is already SO much ick in world and being a parent is hard enough and being a single parent is even harder…let’s show each other some grace and cut the negative stuff out when and where we can 🤍
