Mike Chioda was always the greatest wwe referee imo. Love Earl Hebner but nobody was more passionate in the ring as a ref then Mike. Not afraid to yell at a another wrestler to back off, does the biggest slaps on the mat, and of course the only ref who signaled a 2 count by doing the Hook-em Horns sign 🤘🤘

I’d love to see Chioda back in AEW because they desperately need some competent veteran referees. An action figure would be a bonus.

No loyalty in the WWE. Every year they cut some people simply because they feel they make too much for what they bring to the table. Chioda is a great ref, but WWE probably figured they can replace him with a ref that earns a lot less and it wouldn't hurt business, though the quality of referring would go down.
