This episode we bring in Bens Fake finance Lydia and they don't like her at all. Our goal is to take this cult down this cult and hopefully save someone. It's good to show what is happening in the world but its so sad:(

I lived in the Twelve Tribes communities for 15 years, and I can attest that all the scandals were definitely real. Scourgings, bestiality, stillborn children, covert affairs and child sexual abuse all occurred at various times while I was there. As the wife of an elder I was privy to a lot of information that the average disciple didn't ever know about. This group started out as sincere believers, but their behavior has left an indelible stain on their reputation. At least half of the children born and raised there have left. They will never be seen as a light to the nations as they were hoping to become. It's tragic, because I was once a true believer, but I wish they would just forget about being some spiritual group and just live together in communities with shared values. Becoming the 'new nation of Israel' can never happen, due to the pollution that exists there.

For a while I would pray every single day for the smallest things. Now I’m at peace with my spirituality and realized my mom is just crazy and she don’t know anything

this whole series is fascinating. I grew up in a Christian church and alot of this stuff seems similar, although a LOT less intense than what these folks exhibit. The more I learn and the older I get the more I realize that these "non profit organizations" (what most "churches" really are and operate as) are far away from being loving or showing that God loves people and instead are more about controlling people and making people conform to their ideological and behavioral standards. *Oh yeah, and about taking people's money. Sad. The world needs more love. and less cults. Hahaha. looking forward to the next one. I hope you get more views on these!
