Thank you for the wonderful comments! I spent years dealing with acid reflux and recorded this for a friend after a diet change ended my reflux and my voice started to return to normal in my higher ranges. I never expected to put this anywhere public but I'm glad I did <3 I am working on the nerves thing! I've been trying to be brave and sing more in Sam's discord.

This lady's problem is nerves, not talent. She can hit notes, she can hear what's right and wrong, there just seems to be a self-aware nervousness. I think some positive reinforcement might be really helpful, a positive friend, an encouraging relative.

I have no idea how I stumbled on your videos, but I wish you all the success in the world. I don't understand everything you're saying, but it's obvious you're passionate, knowledgeable and compassionate. Christina- everything your fine teacher said, but one thing for me is obvious at the first second: you sit instead of standing. By standing when singing this kind of song that requires good breathsupport you engage the deeper muscles of your body easier. YOu can try this with standing more on troward your toes, then you can better feeli what muscles inside are needed for singing really well! enjoyed that you clearly love to sing and you sound is beautiful. :)
