TAMIYA TT-02 PORSCHE GT3 FULL BUILD

My first RC car was a Porsche 934 back in 1978. This is my tribute to that car that started my love affair with RC cars and Porsches.

👍
The battery solution is brilliant
at 51:58 we see the front magnet body posts, but what type of post did u use since we see they go straight out instead of up like the stock ones ??

I think you should have put a layer of white paint under the orange one.

Anyone know if Tamiya will bring the classic mini Rc back?

39:00 yeah thats why i just buy white aero disks and be done with that. for a shelf queen painting wheels might be great, but for a racing its just pointless. 45:45 now that battery tray is pure genius

Awesome vid THANKS! Is it necessary to put that much grease in the diffs? I just started building mine, and NOW would be the time to add more. I just lightly brushed grease with a small paintbrush into ALL the teeth everywhere... no where near as much as you applied but all teeth are greased. Thanks dude again great vid

Ha! I watched the whole thing patiently waiting for the cool livery decal application process. I've been robbed!

Nicely done! I'm looking into buying this kit. Where did you get the air brush kit from?

This is one of those rare videos where someone actually put more thought into the mess of wires between the ESC and the motor. Thats the way I would arrange the wires, and cover the ends with shrink tubing. Overall, very well done and inspire people like me to get another kit

Love it a great job I just finished mine, white with blue stripe and blue wheels GT3RS style.

Did you think about spraying the body inside grey, black or white once you were done with the painting work? Helps give the inside a uniform finish, boosts top coat colour (preventing the 'jelly bean' look) and protects the paint from accidental scratches when putting body on. Great build, so fun to watch!

I just ordered the same kit, I'm very excited to assemble my first kit ever. I will be patient and who knows if I'm up to it I'll make a video of it thanks to you!

Good video. Did not think of petroleum jelly? How does it hold up? Built a tt02 gtr a few years ago. It is my fastest rc vehicle. It has a castle brushless 5400 or a 5600 kv. With a 2 cell lipo it is very fast. Need to get that Porsche body you have. Great paint job. Would like to do a Gulf Oil paint job. Building a TT02b now. I will modify it as I go. Most important is the ball bearings

Thanks I see where my mistake was on the steering linkages. Great color you chose for the body. I will do same on Porsche 911.

HI I was wondering on where you have bought the TT-02 and Porsche GT3 992 stickers for the bottom of the chassis? They look super clean on the car!
