Dear Fr Warner, in Jeremiah's 9th object lesson, when the Rechabites are tested by the prophet, they refuse to drink wine, instead obeying the command of their ancestor Jonadab. Their obedience to the injunctions of a dead man contrasts sharply with the disobedience of the Israelites to their living God. Our takeaway is learning the importance of obedience, faithfulness fidelity & sincerity to our God. Thank you Fr for your inspiring teaching & blessing us. The Reahabities remind me of our Muslims brothers who keep the law's to every detail.
