This makes me remember a story my parents told me. When I was a baby, they went to a hotel room that was haunted. The TV would turn on on its own while my parents would be sleeping same with lights and my milk bottle would disappear and reappear randomly.

this one day, my dad was returning home from his work. he was baring onto another road and he noticed a man standing on the side of the road with tattoos all over his arms. this was in broad daylight. as soon as he passed the man, he jumped into a ditch. my dad then looked in his rearview mirror and the man just disappeared. my dad looked at the ditch the following day and he said the ditch was not deep enough to lay down flat in out of sight. he believes he seen an apparition. a woman he works with said she seen the same man at the same place also on her way home from work and as soon as she passed him, she also looked in her rearview mirror and noticed that he just disappeared out of thin air. my dad believes that a guy on a bicycle got killed at that location.
