I'm a retired nurse. Alma was a Filipino nurse I worked with. She retired then came back part time. She brought in food, once she brought everyone a handbag, one time she brought everyone a pair of nice earrings, she sent $ home to her family and all that and more while following me every where I went and looking up when constantly talking as she was only 4'8.❤you had to love her!!!

One time a Filipino nurse asked if I was Filipino and I said no I was hispanic and later when she was transferring me to a new room she said “you’ll love it up here all the nurses are Filipino too and you’ll feel right at home!” And i accepted that I was now Filipino— they were the best<3

I'm a (retired) RN in Ireland, some of my favourite colleagues/friends are fellow nurses from the Philippines.
Those women/men are totally devoted to their vocation, are so friendly and most have left their families behind to make a better life for them.
I couldn't imagine leaving my children behind so kudos to them, they're warriors 👏👏👏👏

Filipino nannies helped raise my cousins, and everyone in that family loved them. There are a lot of Filipino nurses at my aunts old folks home, and they're great. Just something very caring and energetic about them, hopefully they have super personal lives.

I'm an ER nurse and it doesn't matter who's charge, the Filipina nurse is always in charge 😂 and we all are stuffed from the food she brings. She could hands down run that entire department by herself
