Excellent reaction. Alan and Denise were having issues in their marriage, and neither wanted it to end. This song couldn't have come at a better time, and it helped bring the family back together. Denise and Alan are dancing together in the video, and Mattie and Dani, their children are the girls running and playing in the video. Don't worry about the tears, it's a normal occurance listening to this.

The line " Old ones died and new were born " hits me hard these days as my wife and I are becoming the old ones now as I watched my baby girl turn 35 and the two of the 5 grandkids are into their teen years now don't get me wrong I love getting older and being just Old Poppa it is just the cycle of life.
