For me, I grew up with 100% trust in Disney productions. If it had the Disney logo, there was a certain expectation. What saddens me, is, I, now, have zero trust in Disney. The Disney logo is an automatic two strikes against the project.

Achara, you were definitely mixing the two most popular versions of the tale together. In the Disney version, it was true loves kiss that basically dispelled the effects of the curse but there wasn't any parts of the apple that came out. The literary version, however, had the prince's footmen pick up the glass casket to take her to the castle with the prince leading them but, as they started carrying her away from the dwarves, one of the footmen drops the casket and the piece of the apple that she had bitten into, which was stuck in her throat, became dislodged by the impact of her body hitting the ground. Once the apple came out of her throat, she woke up.
