Right in the middle of watching this movie, I realised that this trilogy explored the theme of "family" more than the fast and furious movies ever did.

Will no one talk about mantis? She honestly was very good in this. Had so much more to do

Watching this movie made me retroactively angry at Thor: Love and Thunder. It demonstrated how you can have a comedic film without losing the high stakes and darkness. Easily my favorite MCU film since Endgame.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Mantis. I feel like her character in this movie was a step up for her. The fight scene where she grabs people and "controls" them was cool to see. Really enjoyed this movie

This movie gave me more feels than any other MCU movie. Sad to see the end of the trilogy, but what a way to end it. Perfect blend of bitter and sweet, leaves me both satisfied and wanting more. Easily best movie of the year for me, and I gave up watching super hero movies years ago.

*James Gunn* is the only director who’s Marvel movies felt like his own — rather than belonging to Kevin Fiegie and Disney.

I found this one of the best MCU movies. I don't need a complex villain everytime, sometimes an absolute monster that deserves pain works. The message regarding animal experiment is perfect, and I didn't mind that some flashbacks started before showing Rocket, they worked in making me feel for that quarter. Great movie and great conclusion for gotg!

Bradley Cooper deserves an Oscar just for his scream scene when Lyla dies....that killed me from the inside out

For me, this movie has some of the "best of" stuff in the MCU:

- Most tragic moment: You know which one.
- Most heartwarming moment: Drax making the prisoner kids laugh.
- Funniest moment: Drax throwing the ball at the girl.

This film is so damn good. It really shakes you up it gets extremely disturbing but stayed with you emotionally. Truly a great film.

The way they’ve marketed this one, if Rocket somehow survives the film it’ll be the biggest twist of the year 😂😂

I’m happy with the good buzz the movie is getting, since the decline of quality for the MCU has been noticeable

Guardians and Captain America: the two MCU franchises no one expected to love, yet produced two perfect movie trilogies somehow.

I've seen the film and it's everything I ever want a third movie in a trilogy should be. First time I ever felt the characters were in real danger. Love how everybody gets to shine and I love how they were not afraid to show the less pleasant side to Rocket's past. I love the trilogy overall, even though I wasn't that big of a fan of the 2nd. James Gunn wasn't lying when he said the movies were secretly about Rocket

After watching Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 last night, the best way to describe the movie is coming full circle.

I cried three times during the premiere screening at my home town. So did the strangers on either side of me, both me and those girls simultaneously wiping the tears away was wholesome.

It's bittersweet to see these characters grow and change. As an audience, it will be an emotional journey.

Am I the only person who likes animals and didn't expect it to go that dark? The moment they showed how sweet the other animals were, I knew what was coming. I actually went and warned a couple of true animal lover friends to go in ready for that. Being a New Yorker myself that sky shit killed me.

The actor who played the High Evolutionary was absolutely brilliant in the film. Terrifying and imposing all the way through till his demise. It truly felt like the audience was one of his small helpless prisoners during much of the movie. And when he got his, it felt similar to joffrey for me in GOT, he was a truly hate-able villain and amazing actor in this film

I loved Guardians 3. They got to have their own "Endgame" movie, and it was spectacular. Especially so refreshing after the disappointment of Thor 4 and Antman 3. The MCU's gonna miss James Gunn a lot.
