on a rewatch i was super impressed with that scene. thinking about it for one second of how did they do this, it was clear that it was probably a lot of work to get it right. no trickery, just perfect timing, and the end result is probably the best moment in the movie

That was a great scene with a cinematic nod to other split screen pillowtalk by phone scene. I wish Carrie Fisher was still around and wish her 2 cents could have been included in these interviews. A clip about Rob Reiner and Billy Crystal's friendship will come up, so that prompts me to state that to some degree also, Carrie Fisher and Meg Ryan had a friendship in real life. Bruno Kirby acted with Billy Crystal in City Slickers after When Harry Met Sally. Unfortunately, he also died fairly young, in 2006 at 57, from leukemia.
