There are so many dishes in dimsum how could you recreate/choose from them all? Although, I was recently told dantaat is very good homemade. Here we have cheurngfun, dantaat, hamsuigok available at bakeries.

There's too many types of dimsum. As an Asian myself, I sometimes confused and overwhelmed when eating out at restaurants.

So true about it being a family thing. When I lived in my hometown, my family and I always had dim sum together. Every Sunday my family and I used to meet my Chinese grandparents for dim sum. Since I left home and live in a different state, I now get dim sum once a month with my auntie and her family. And if I ever get dim sum without them it’s always with at least one friend. Dim sum, in my mind, is always something that’s made to be shared :)
