How to Make Green Clay Cold Process Facial Soap Bars for Oily & Mature Skin Types - Dawn Organics

Hello again everyone, today we’ll be making unscented facial soap for Mature / Oily Skin. This is an ultra-gentle recipe made with 90% olive oil, 5% castor oil & 5% Avocado oil. It has been a staple in the Dawn Organics range for some time, it’s a simple, straightforward & effective recipe. It is coloured with Green Australian clay as this clay is great at removing excess oil from the skin

MERRY CHRISTMAS, I have a couple questions. 1. The per cent for sodium lactate, sugar and salt, are the per cent of oils? 2. Do you heat the oils at all or just use at what temperature. Thanks

Hello....question for you, I made this recipe four days ago into small bars and I had two issues with it...first is they are still too soft, it's not crumbly, but I have to be careful when handling it. Also, they didn't come out clean out of the mold, it came out with texture like cheese almost like there were air bubbles only on the outside surface. I've made other recipes that you've posted and they didn't come out as soft as this one....I'm not sure where I went wrong? I left it in the oven for 24 hrs, it was on the lowest setting for a few hours and then I turned it off and left it there. The only thing I did differently is I added a different brand of essential oil....could that be it?
