That's honestly the only cover I've seen of this song that captures its energy. You're all so talented. I'm now a proud subscriber of yours

must admit, not a huge fan of the original cause its very repetitive. glad that eskil through in extra growls and altered it a bit so it kept things fresh along with the little mini solos from the guitar. keep up the good work fellas

In my opinion, all you needed was to add strings, which was the defining characteristic sound of this song (not to mention 70s disco) and it would have been great. It was good though, don't get me wrong. The musicianship was great. But I often wonder why the young/er musicians of the modern day can't take that great musicianship, and write something original as good as this. Which brings me to my final point. It come off as a copycat cover. It's like you're trying to sound like the Trammps, even though you're still appearing to have fun with it. But, I think with a cover like this, which is so specific to a particular sound, that's what's gonna happen. I suppose I'm looking at the lead singer most of all here, who is good .. but by no means captured the magic like the late Ellis, and I'm talking universes apart. But for a youtube cover, even though this surely took a lot of work, it's .. a typical "good" band cover. I give you guys credit nonetheless, and you delivered well with musical competence at what is not an easy thing to do by any means.

Great tune and energy!
But the line is "Burn the mutha down" as in "burn the mother f*cker down"
"Burn the mamma down" doesn't any make sense ;)
