Alexi Laiho |Children of Bodom| - a Piano Tribute

Hey, guys. Today is 1 year since Alexi Laiho, one of my favorite musicians, has died. I started listening melodic death music from COB band. I was inspired his music all my life and I was at his concerts 3 times! I really glad I had time to was there. So, few time ago I've found a symphonic tribute to COB by Joseph Stevenson. I took his genius idea and made my own version.

@CreamyAndDreamy if you are really COB fan, you should know how Alexi loved his own metal covers (Brittney Spears, Van Halen e.t.c.) And of course I know I played The Rock theme on 1:12 which he used at Bodom After Midnight =) I like his musical sense of humour

So much affect and joy this brings me. Sincerely grateful for this.

Damn that was a beautiful tribute, I actually burst into tears during downfall. It's so strange, I cried more and feel more deeply for losing Alexi than I did my grandparents. I think it's because Bodom really helped me get through the death of my Mother at 16 and Father at 19. Emotions are weird. Thanks for this.

I nearly lost interest in death metal many years ago until the day I heard COB.
COB saved me from that fate and I will never forget that!
