Idk if it's nostalgia, but BLOPS really was the best imo. Good campaign, zombies, token unlock system so no meaningless grinding, memorable maps w/ good design, highly customizable calling card emblems, fun game modes and freedom in class customization. You could literally run the weirdest classes and still have a blast. Wish they kept this formula man

I just finished replaying the campaign today. Truly one of the best CoD made. Zombies was amazing and the multiplayer was so much fun. You could have so much stuff for just one class. You can have a primary, secondary, lethal, tactical, gear, & 3 perks. The customization was crazy too. Like face paint? We never asked for it but we got it
