Any mom of children knows that life is full of surprises. But besides taking care of the regular responsibilities of motherhood, teaching your own children makes you feel like there aren't enough hours in the day! With a mega brood of my own, I understand the frustration. Today we are going to discuss ways I have found time for homeschooling.

Sherry. I honestly think you should write a book about your life and homeschooling 15 children. It really did make me think when you said you used to sing when everyone was crying. I am going to start doing this. I tend to get stressed out and start yelling. I need to work on that and the lord has been working on my heart.

Oh Sherry, I so needed to watch this! I love a tidy home and systems, but I have 4 kids ages 4 and under, plus my school-aged kids. This was encouraging, thank you. I'm gonna sing the crying song when all my Littles are crying at the same time 😂

Awww, Sherry! Always like a breath of fresh air! You once again have mightily blessed me, and in turn, my precious children. I hopped on here to enjoy a hot coffee and breakfast before starting our Bible time, and I'm so glad I did. The Lord's wisdom, might, and words that he used you to bring, has filled me even fuller with his presence, and has encouraged me greatly. I have NEVER managed to keep any systems throughout my 18 years of child raising, and 12 years of homeschooling, and have often felt inferior to all those moms on blogs and vlogs who seem to have it all together. And because God is a God of order, and we are supposed to "let everything be done decently and in order, " I still strive to keep some kind of routine. This very general and loose routine, however, is even often upset by my husband's very unpredictable work schedule. But hearing your words today reminds me that during those unpredictable days, which are more often than not, I just need to keep relying on our most worthy and perfectly competent God to supply all our needs. God bless you once again, and your whole family.

I'm sorry I don't agree with you. We don't earn God's grace ever. You read the law- something that which we cannot do. We are in the new covenant of grace. God fulfills his promises to give us everything we need. Our actions are the fruit of His work in us. Our actions do not earn things from God.
