Perez, I think that you are a very good dad but that in this instance, you are wrong. I speak as a teacher with 30 years of experience and I also raised two boys. A consequence should be applied as a result of a ''bad'' action, such as lying, hitting, etc... Not in the context of getting a treat and being denied that treat. You could have made fun of the situation, restart it to give her chance, etc... We are talking about a treat and curiosity got the best of her. Imagine if your kid went to a birthday party or if this happened at school and she was singled out and not offered something because she was being a child, while all the other children got a treat. What happened is the exact same thing but on a smaller scale. The 💩 would hit the roof. I feel like you are being much too harsh in this situation.

It doesn't matter what the end result is, you have humilated your young daughter on the worldwide net. And then at the end of it- taught her that if she cries (especially with a camera in her face) she will infact get what she wants.. which is sadly (in her case) the exact same thing that her siblings (and you) are entitled to have. All so bizarre, confusing and meaninglessness. There's such an underlying unwell and borderline sadistic vibe to you when you get like this.. and after watching some of the more terrible things you've done to your children over the years (predominantly towards Mia and Mario) it's become so much clearer that the unhappier, more agitated or frustrated you are.. the more you transfer those emotions onto Mia and Mario.. and it's really abusive. It's also concerning that if this is what you do to them on camera, what's going on off camera? I really think you should reduce the number of videos you do with your children per week.. and do some family counselling with them.. because the eldest two, in particular, are heading into a different age bracket.. and with you being their only parent.. and them having an online presence.. since the day they were each born.. might need some extra support. I just sense so much emotional distress in Mia.. and alot of anxiety and self doubht in Mario.. and sadly, it was little Mario doing his knowing best to comfort his sister in this video.. patting her on the head. 😔 For those of us who have seen the worst of what you have done to your kids on camera.. with them even screaming in fear.. it's really hard to watch.. and it's a really unusual experience to wish to be able to comfort your children because of the unnecessary and too often humiliating experiences you (as their Father) are choosing to put them through.
Truth be told, it was you who didn't deserve that lollie.
