We've done so well in the absence of odegaard so far but if we are without Saka as well i would worry where the goals would come from. I'm really getting frustrated with international breaks now.

Chico Great as always 👍🏻
Odegards ankle rotated - as seen in the photos- in a manner that ankles are not designed to do and nor the structures that hold that joint, assuming that no bone was damaged his recovery would always be 8 - 12 weeks minimum
When it happened I put a comment and said 3 months

Hey Charles. Bit of early talk but if Arsenal needs to reinforce players in the winter transfer window, where do you think Arsenal should sign? Personally, a wide player who can also cover striker and maybe a young no.6 or no.8 midfielder seems needed. Winter transfer window is always a tough window to sign players but i think we need at least 1 signing to cover the squad.

Hi Charles, Great content, always look forward to my daily Inside Arsenal fix!
With reference to the comments on player strikes at the end of the day if they choose to go on strike they won’t get paid whilst on strike. I’m sure a sensible resolution will be negotiated and agreed as in sure those players won’t want to lose money! 👍🏻🤔⚽️

Why do ppl always say Saka is not world class player because he hasn’t won anything and then in same breath say Harry Kane is world class? Did he win something that we missed?

I feel like Arteta hasn’t ever been able to play HIS team. Partey and Timber were out all last season so we never saw a Rice-Timber-Partey-Odegaard combo that had the time to click into gear. Now the Merino and Odegaard injuries (and Saka?) are cratering the plans Arteta/Edu built over the summer. But if we don’t win the league, no-one’s going to give them a pass because of it. I feel for Arteta. For the way he’s turned the club around, he deserves better luck….

This is before the Chelsea game: I don't like cashing for a manager to go but I've never really thought much of Jonas for awhile, the team constantly seems to under achieve with him. It's frustrating seeing teams like city and utd catching up or even surpassing us. We were treble winners.

Charles, 'Merino speaking about it' makes it sound like he spoke about a strike unprovoked. He's been asked a question by a journalist who wants a story. Rodri talking about it, is the same. They're asked questions by journalists. They give their opinions. It's not like it's an imminent threat of a strike. The media wants a story.

Hey Charles great show as always, random opinion but the way Calafiori attacks reminds me of Nuno Tavares (with a lot more finesse), it's very chaotic but so much fun. But he's got the side of him where he can take a step back to think about his next move. He's definitely not the finished product but so excited to see his development.

I could be being overly optimistic here… but it might be a blessing to have Martin back fit and firing in December. We’ve seen a drop off around this time last year. His freshness could be something that’ll help us through that period

I have never understood why the Health and Safety in both the EU and UK haver been involved in Player safety. It’s clear that players are being overplayed and they have the same rights as all other workers.

I know players are very patriotic and desperately want to play for their clubs. Odegaard is also captain of his country as well so I understand his willingness to take the risk. Unfortunately, just like Jesus, it has caused him a very serious injury. And again, just like Jesus, he may come back not the same player he was before the injury. What's more annoying with Odegaard is that he was already in the red zone when he joined up with Norway, and he went on to have another injury whilst there. I am not a medical doctor but no one can convince me that his serious injury was in isolation of the 2 injuries he got earlier. Odegaard relies on being nimble footed and riding challenges. His foot was planted when he got injured meaning there was some over compensation and reduced mobility on his part already. I truly pray that he comes back the same player, but to have your foot face the wrong way with the rest of the body in that manner it can only mean serious injury.

Spot on Charles! The Arsenal haters love to call us bottlers but they never mention the key injuries we've had at crucial times over the past 2 seasons. Thankfully the squad is strengthening every year. It's our time! COYG!

Arteta has to wake up and smell the roses regarding resting SAKA, he must be looked after, wishing all our lads that are injured full recoveries, don’t rush them back COYG❤️❤️❤️

Hi Charles, why is Arteta reluctant to play Nwaneri?

Going on strike is not always about money Charles, sometimes it's about wrking conditions

Charles .. did Timber have a medical issue or did he get dropped from the Dutch team as a result of that reported bust up in the last international break?

Maybe there should be a cap on number of non club games a player can elect to play. Then fifa n the continental groupings n FAs can agree on how to share that. I'm sure it's complex but it'll be a start to capping the number of games pa a player's body can physically bear.

keeping Jonas shows a complete lack of ambition from the club. he should have gone last season
