$5000 a month it’s a ridiculous amount. I will say 2 - 3 thousand is a reasonable amount for a volvo or freightliner. I can suggest that buying an older truck for a new venturer is a better fit and after gaining experience in the business, then move to what their numbers tells them. Leasing trucks is more for businesses that have a proven operation to likely won’t fail in normal out off the ordinary day to day. To be honest leasing a new truck cost just as much as financing it, so if your business can afford a new truck financing is a better fit, unless you have a large size trucking business that needs new trucks for lack of a self own repair shop.

They told me the wait is a year and that I couldn't even be placed on the waiting list. But if you lease onto JB Hunt they can get you in a truck now. They are not an owner operator friendly place.

You said 5k per month for solo truck….why does it matter if the buyer operates its by himself or adds another driver with him to make it more productive and earn more income…..

5k a month is the biggest scam of mankind if u wasn’t paying 5k for a freakin truck payment you could actually still make some good money in this low rate market 😅
