@mrdjeazy Hi, thanks for watching. As opposed to the ESX24 which is a sampler the ES2 is a synthesizer and doesn't work with samples. This means all sounds are a product of manipulating the wave forms created by the Oscillators.

@mrdjeazy The Flex tool only works with audio regions. You'll need to convert the MIDI to audio via a bounce and then you'll be able to affect the region using the Flex Modes.

You select so that the part you want to keep is dark grey/black, and then you click Functions > Trim. Hope that helps.

@clevaclay PLEASE explain. How do i save my changes???? EXACTLY what do i do when i'm done editing my samples. I went to my arrange window, I dont see how to"convert regions to new sampler track".

HOW DO YOU SAVE THE SAMPLE THEN SO THAT WHEN YOU PLAY THE NOTE IT ONLY PLAYS FROM YOUR START AND END POINT ON THE EDITOR?

@WinkSound ah ok cheers, do you know how to go about manipulating midi in flex view as i can only manipulate audio, would i have to bounce the midi then place it back in to logic as an mp3?

Thats dope but your didnt finish the tutorial... you showed how you edit the sample but you didn't show how you update the sample in the editor with your new edit. In min it play the regular not and changes were made to the sample version of the region. When I double click on the square again I'm back to square one.
