Cancel your credit cards people. it's a big trap. You keep paying and paying and the bad thing is also that you keep buying

You do have to have credit, but you also have to manage it well.

With credit, you will always owe something so keep it to the minimum to avoid - as very well described here - using next year's salary to pay this year's debt.

Credit is a potent tool if used wisely.

People debt in and of itself is not bad, do not let them fool you. The issue is when you assume debt for depreciating assets. Do not aquire debt for clothes and trips. However, you should know that the rich acquire debt to procure appreciating assets. The bonus is that you pay little to no tax.
