I remain astonished at how young people can embark on a course of action with irreversible consequences on the basis of two one-hour conversations with a therapist.

I’m just making this observation as a gay man, so maybe I’m biased or hyper aware, I dunno… but it seems like just being gay is almost not even considered anymore when it comes to anything that has to do with someone who might be slightly outside the norm for heterosexuality. When I see anything LGBT there always seems to be an emphasis on the T, if not just a complete focus.

Even when I see gay men being portrayed in entertainment it’s people that look RuPaul or Billy Porter, people who are androgynous at best, or they’re super fey or even wearing makeup. I almost never see just a gay man like me… a regular man, who looks like man, acts like a man, sounds like a man, dresses like a man, who just happens to also like men. That describes the vast majority of gay men I know and I’m one of them (describes my husband too). I’ve never even met or seen someone like Billy Porter.

I feel like “it’s ok to be gay” needs to be revised to “it’s ok to just be gay.”

Do these so called gender "therapists" ever say no to anyone? I don't think they do, and that should be a gigantic red flag.

we need to hear from more people who detrans, and the medical profession needs to stop chasing perpetual patients and stop doing harm to trans . humans are a sexually reproducing species, despite individual variation. and women should not be erased in language at all

Young people are encouraged to dissociate, create a new identity, mutilate themselves.. as if that is going to go down well :(
Be whatever you want, people don't care nowadays but don't mutilate yourselves .

The reckless application of these surgeries and hormones is going to go down as the most criminally unethical chapter in medical history. This is worse than the lobotomy Chapter 70 or 80 years ago.

Rarely do I make comments about personal appearance, but Garrett's choice of shirt is fantastic imo. What a well presented person. And this individual shines.

I don't have a problem with trans people, I have a problem with how indignant and manipulative activists are in enforcing affirmation onto dissidents.
And these are some extremely young impressionable people who don't have proper life experiences. Yet their arguments _fall apart_ extremely easily.
Which is why it seems trans activists are so manipulative in quashing dissent and attacking anyone not totally celebratory of the culture. Not good.
They need to be forced to deal with dissent. And doctors/journalists need to be able to operate freely otherwise they're only self-harming.
