How to Make a Paint Palette from Clay

I can’t believe how simple making this is… it’s easier to make than it is to decide what to use it for…a paint palette, a sauce dish, a trinket tray?

Whatever you use it for, all you need to make this versatile creation is a rolling pin (or bottle), sharp tool to cut your clay, a wire tool (included in our pottery kits) to carve your clay, and some glaze or paint to decorate your creation.

P.S. don’t forget, to make your pottery waterproof and food-safe it needs to be professionally fired in a kiln. Or skip the kiln trip, and opt for a decorative trinket tray.

May you plzzzz answer my question so I use air dry clay from Crayola and a lot of other people use it but for some reason when I let my clay dry all the way and then I paint it the paint can peel right off and I don't get it I don't know if anyone else has a problem with it and i use mog podge because it should help it stick on but it doesn't do anything!!!
