God, I hate families like this. Why is it always the fault of the person who was wronged/betrayed? Just because it's "family" doesn't mean you have to keep backstabbing toxic people in your life.

James & Tasha leaving the OP at the altar, was to humiliate her. They did it on that day specifically for a reason. It was just to humiliate her & make her look/feel dumb. It was calculated/planned!
James isn’t sorry for what he’s done nor does he miss the OP (like he claimed during the phone call when he first reached out to her), he just realized that Tasha isn’t sh*t & now was testing the waters to see how the OP would react over the phone call if he told her what she wanted to hear.
At the end of the day, the OP’s parents lost a child due to them, failing as parents. What Tasha did is absolutely unforgivable, but you can still forgive someone & want absolutely nothing to do with them. Tasha isn’t family. She’s a relative. DNA doesn’t make you guys family. It makes you relatives. Family is the people you choose to be your family whether people want to acknowledge that or not. The OP needs to officially cut off everyone who’s on on Tasha side b/c what’s the point of keeping them in your life if they’re all just gonna try & flip it on you, when you know damn well you’re not in the wrong.

if this "family" is so concerned with the family image, OP should expose in the social media the lack of character of the whole family siding with a backstabber, and making clear if they are backing up a backstabber the extend family and friends should be aware to not being backstabbed by them.

Your mother's and father did not take sides. In my mind that tells me that they were not upset with your sister 's action. They just didn't want people to know that they had no major objections to what the sister did. And saying that, that means that they did not support the offended sister.
