Ella, I'm honestly so glad you bought this up, people with siblings that have severe mental health issues struggle so much but never speak about it. I've watched my sister struggle with addiction and nearly take her life multiple times and its so incredibly difficult being so helpless and watching your parents struggle alongside. Please just know that its okay to be angry at your sibling and the fact that they don't want to help themselves, its okay to grieve even though they're still around please allow yourself to feel the emotions. I promise though that it does get better!! Thinking of you x

As someone who's coming out the other side of an eating disorder, just wanted to say there is always hope and it isn't forever. It's a devastating illness but hopefully there comes a time where your sister does want to recover. I've been in that place and it's rough but I'm sure she appreciates your concern and support. All you can do is be there for her x

Also congrats on 69 days! I remember when you first started planning and I got excited for when it was the time to start planning mine. I think I’m about 17 days out now and starting to get excited. But lots to do in the coming 10 days or so.

My sisters are kind of all bickering at the moment and I imagine there may be a little tension on the day between them but I’m focusing on myself and my fiancé and I’m determined it’s gonna be a great day!

I know it’s not entirely the same but just focus on you and Nick, you deserve the good day. You can worry about other things on every other day of the year.

I have been in a similar situation with a sibling facing issues I couldn’t do anything about. One day at a time, and trying to keep distracted is the best way to navigate through it.
