I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on this subject tysm for sharing them. I think we are in really scary uncharted waters with this listening to ai covers of songs which sound so real and watching the footage it really reminds me of the entity from the last mission impossible film, the future regarding ai is really what we make of it there for sure needs to be serious regulations and guardrails I am not optimistic because our leaders and elected officials are super old and have no idea what ai even is the fact that this years presidential election is pretty much set to be a rerun of two old farts attempting to duke it out at the retirement home being case in point, what regulations should we pursue you might well ask and tbh I'm not entirely sure this is a situation where easy answers are not to be found, In terms of your hypothetical about a deepfake of you robbing a store what i can say is in that scenario occurring to someone i believe we should stick by people we know to have character integrity and whom we know would never do such a thing that's the best we can do.
