2016, 2017 Nissan X-Trail will have an engine similar to that of its predecessors but mostly take after the powertrain of the 2016 Nissan X-Trail. Under the hood, 2017 Nissan X-Trail will be powered by a supercharger four-cylinder with a 2.5-liter capacity. The mill can output 170 hp and 175 lb/ft of torque.

A manual transmission will not be part of this engine, but rather a powertrain will be merged with a Xtronic CVT. Power will be sent to the front wheel drive and front wheel drive by the CVT as an optional package.

Nice video but note this not the new 2017 model.
It is the 2015/2016 X-trail at the Thailand motor show. And its not the top model. The
2.5V X-Trail has a sunroof and larger wheels. This is the non hybrid
2.0 4wd I think.
Nissan release strategy is confusing in Asia because
they don't offer all features on all models and sometimes the higher
models are missing features available on lower models.
