1. We are starting with a quick glance at the basics of each CPU:

The test setup was made up of 16GB of DDR4-3200 CL14 RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2080Ti graphics card.

Basically they are both great now, but i think i9 is more "future proof" :)

Today i sold my i7 9700k for 240€ and bougth the i9 9900k for 345€ here in Spain. Im very glad of it thinking in future 🤪

So basically, identical performance at 1440p. I just swapped my i7 9700k with an i9 9900K and I saw a small performance boost, but mostly in older titles at 1440p. I got it for its multithreading performance though.

yeah your better off to save your money and get the I7 because the performance difference in gaming is so low you can't really tell the difference, you will not notice it at all.
How ever if you play with MSFS 2020 That flight simulator is very dependent on CPU as well as GPU, so you might notice a slight difference but nothing to jump up and down about..
i have both of these chips, and i use one to render video's in Premier pro and the other for gaming.
I have the I7 For gaming and the i9 For Premier pro, and to tell you the truth i wouldn't matter which PC i use for either tasks they are both similar..
Now turn to I9 12 GEN you will notice a difference the 12 Gen has 12 cores rather than 8 and you will notice the difference..

when you have games like BF5 and red dead rep II yes that 9700k gets pushed to 100% load its like an i5 cpu on ice

My i7 9700k is every time on 100% in fortnite and other games. I play in 3440x1440p and my CPU is a hard bottleneck to my 3070ti. When you open discord oland chrome, then the i7 9700k is very bad.

There are better CPUs then i9 9900K now more cores and Threads
