I am thoroughly amused with the pronunciation of Wienerschnitzel. It’s closer to “viener“.
Wien is the German name of Vienna. :)

Schnitzel originates from an Ottoman (turkish) dish, which was then brought to europe in the late medieval period, mainly through Italy towards Austria and southern Germany. In Austria (capital: Vienna/Wien) veil Schnitzel are common, whilst in southern Germany you will also often find pork or chicken.

In German 'Wiener' is someone from Vienna (a Vienna-er if you will).
It's not the English weener, it's a Vienna Schnitzel!

As documented by Stanley Tucci in CNN Italian food series, breaded veal came to Italy via the Turks and then to Germany across the Alps.

Speaking of ambience You should find and photograph/record peaceful and almost tranquil scenes happening in big urban environments. It’s my favorite thing to do even around my own city. There’s something about finding even the busiest places and finding it’s peaceful balance

I grew up near Heidelberg Castle in Florida. I wonder if that name is the 'Smith' of Germany.
