3rd gen was really the core of K-pop. Of course 1st and 2nd gen have done their parts, but it was this gen that really made Kpop global and enjoyed internationally.

Honestly, as a 2nd gen fan, it's really sad to see people who got into Kpop during 3rd gen watch their idols disband and move on to other things. I watched it with all my favorite groups so I relate, even though groups that come after are good the ones you first got into will always hold a special place in your heart that no new group can touch.

Its kinda sad that 4th gen cant express their energy and happiness in music shows cuz of how much contreversys and dating scandels can happen just cuz of one wrong move

as someone who's been around since 2nd gen, it is a different feeling now. everything is a lot stricter and it really feels like idols are constantly walking on eggshells, but i will never forget what stray kids (4th gen) have done for me. i would happily trade the previous generations joyous moments to keep the precious ones i hold with skz.

Been a Kpop fan since SHINee debuted in 2008. Can safely say that 2nd gen and 3rd gen will always be the best generations. They spread a lot of happiness and energy with them, and made everything they did enjoyable for the fans, even if we made things hard for them. 4th Gen is weighed down by an overly sensitive era of online activity and over sensitivity that makes gives their actions volatile consequences. They have to be overly cautious because of these things, and it breaks my heart, because it removes all of the light from things like award shows and even variety shows, as they can't dance together, or even smile at each other out of fear.

Wait till you realize how more interactive and fun 2nd gen was. They literally talk to each other in front of cameras and interact without restrictions. Talk about each other's fun moments on variety shows. 3rd gen started like how 2nd gen, but they ended up being 4th gen also, bc they were the actual victims of overanalyzing fans. It was a transition. 2nd gen is the full blown fun and interactive era of Kpop.

I watched a kbs ending song some months ago and when I realized all of them were 4th gen I got really sad because 3rd gen is almost over. We didn't even get to see them all together for the last time either. I really miss got7, exo, bts, blackpink, twice, red velvet, mamamoo, gfriend, seventeen and other 3rd gen interactions 😭 and i really really wish there will be a last award show where every 3rd gen group will be present

It's sad to see Gen 3 slowly leave, they brought so much joy and passion, and got so many of us interested in kpop. Gen 4 is amazingly talented, but to me, they won't ever compare to Gen 3. They're all special and unique in their own way, but Gen 3 was just something else and I thank them for being there for us

As a Korean in 20s, I rly miss 2nd 3rd Generation vibes cuz I remember those kpop songs were not only limited to that certain fandoms, but was listened and enjoyed by all people in my age, which always gives me nostalgic vibes

I miss the 2nd gen games, they were só fun and idols weren't even scared of being themselves. They even had a love show where they would pick who were the best couple match and then they would play games

I've been through 3 generations of kpop and it's so crazy seeing how much the kpop community has changed throughout all of them. Being introduced into the creative and carefree realm of 2nd gen kpop, going through the fun and entertaining world of 3rd gen, to the now more serious 4th gen, I can really see the stark difference between them all. I too miss the way it used to be ;-;
