I believe that the transitions on the home screen makes it seem like it's fast.

I didn't know Patton Oswalt did phone reviews. Good to see he's an Android fan.

Because of all of this mess going on with AT&T screwing with the more recent Samsung devices bootloaders, I'm thinking about taking my Note 3 back to the big box store and getting this baby. At least I can root it and throw a decent ROM on it.

You feel for it and eventually just get used to it. Kinda like pressing the buttons on the sides without looking, except now your fingers are always on the buttons

That's what my g2 used to look like. I miss it and the typing keyboard, which was smarter.
The rollout of Android 5.0 lollipop has ruined what was a really nice phone.

This phone with a different back and a nexus logo on it, that's what I want :)

I wish it was a little bit bigger like note 2. But still getting it though xD

Yup - got that same excessively colourful look that makes my eyes water and my nose run.

The software is just overloaded
if LG kept things simpler I think
the phone would run 2x better.

I'll take the same design with a quad Snapdragon 600 in a Nexus for $350...and different backing.
