I thought this video was funny. I've been using chat gpt for some coding help as well when I'm stuck. I've also been using it for helping me get ideas for a world-building project I wanna start up this year when I have time. It actually surprisingly has a wild imagination even for being ai. Been loving using chat gpt with my workflow. it's probably been one of the most useful bots when it's working. Also your expressions were solid A+ material.

I've been learning to code (dabbling here and there in the past) with Unity - and spent the first week desperately trying to get GPT to help. With possibly hundreds of questions, including rephrasings, I've NEVER gotten a correct or useful answer out of chatGPT. Not once. It's looked right a few times, but that only confused me until I realised it was telling me to call a function or method that doesn't exist in C# or doesnt exist natively.

So basically it would be like: (e.g. that we all know a simple answer to) "How to I reduce a number by 50%?" and GPT would suggest using "int number = 100" then call

Any AI for code needs to be specifically configured backend to treat the reference as gospel and github etc as suggestions.

Have to come back to this video after using chatGPT daily. Imagine people boycotting this LMAO.
Sure it can get things wrong sometimes but if you know what you're doing it can absolutely lead you into the right direction way faster (and less painfully than banging your head against the table) for the solution. That example you had with the missing pivot is a perfect reason to why everyone should be using this tool.

I try not to depend too much on ChatGPT for that reason (it used to kick me out multiple times during the working day). I only used it when I get REALLY stuck, not everyday.

@1:22 ChatGPT left out the trivial fact that the "+" symbol is ideogram used to represent the idea of addition.
I give ChatGPT 1 point off for not being verbose enough in it's response! 🤣
