Closet Space -Short Film

We made a short in our new place.
More Twilight Zone than horror this time.

You can tell he’s a really good director when even on daylight setting it still gave you chill. Within 3 minutes.

I felt more terrified during this video than any other.
Normally you kinda know what to expect and you just jump scare once or twice. But the waiting and not knowing what was coming was literally 'horror'

Here's my interpretation:

The closet is a portal to an alternate dimension.
If you put items in the closet it takes the items away from the original dimension (basically stealing the doll from another alternate Lotta).

If you put a person in the portal he/she is teleported to an alternate dimension. Basically meaning Lotta and David by the end of this short are either stranded/stuck on an alternate dimension and they would have to step back into the closet to escape.

Whole lot of jargin but that's just what I got from the short.

I want a sequel to this showing the four of them (the couple and their dopplegangers) living together now, just being really crowded and annoyed with each other (themselves). There's a line for the bathroom every morning. They go through all the food and toiletries twice as fast, which causes tension until one of them remembers that they can just double their supplies via the closet. To celebrate they cook a big dinner (which they double) and then afterward one of the Lottas suggests that they can play a board game to pass the time. One of the Davids gets up announcing that he thinks they have "Clue" pit away somewhere on the ground floor. The two Lottas and the remaining David hear the closet door open and shut. They jump up screaming: "No, not that one!" And scene.

This was terrifying, I didn't know what to expect the whole time, especially when David disappeared. And then the ending was a great use of that fine line between comedy and horror, had me chuckling.

This is one of the best short horror films I've ever seen. No ghosts appear, from unrealistic methods to realistic problems...
It's been 7 years since I saw it for the first time when I was 14 years old!

This video was a nice surprise. That doll could be an on going Easter egg until it gets it's own short. Congrats on the "Lights Out" movie.
