The reason we don't get any national loving is because we're way up here in the Pacific Northwest, out of sight, out of mind. Nothing new there. Some time, take a look at all of the national media coverage of our stolen Super Bowl with the Pittsburg Steelers, we were the better team but we were totally ignored...and then the refs stepped in to send off Beatty into retirement on a positive note. And that's not just my opinion, people with no horse in the race also feel that way. But that's OK, we're in a great situation to surprise a hell of a lot of people this year now that we will finally have some decent coaching.

The main thing the hawks have missed in the last few years, is that "dawg" mentality at defence. I'm hoping this whole new coaching staff brings that back. It sure felt like it, even with the 3rd stringers+ out there. They weren't afraid to put their body into hits.

Geno is seriously underrated. Like Rodney Dangerfield "no respect!" This season is going to change all of that. And the 20th ranked QB just did babck to back pro bowls? I agree that SF is past their peak and will stumble thus season. Purdy in essentially his 2nd season...sophomore curse...watch and see. The O line has to be better and this offense will be unstoppable. With the potential the defense has, watch out!

I see this season as an experimentation year. If all goes well and we make the playoffs, great! If we don't do that well and miss the playoffs, Coach Mac will take what worked and double down on it. Either way, I see Coach Mac fixing the mistakes to get ready for the 2025 season

I see us at a 13-4, maybe 11-5-1 when the season ends and we go into the playoffs.

People can make a case for 10+ wins, but if it doesn't work out that way for a rookie HC rebuilding a team to his vision, don't be shocked. And missing playoffs doesn't equal a bad season, either.

I couldn't agree with you more. I think sports writers are lazy. The start with last year's winning teams and the teams with the most hype and go from there. Geno Smith is the most underrated QB in the league but they will all be singing a different tune after this season. The Hawks are loaded with talent and they have a chip on their shoulder. They have something to prove and I believe they will. Also agree about SF. They have some important injuries and hold outs which will hurt the morale. They are ripe to be taken down. And the reason the Rams are a big deal is because of Mathew Stafford and Puka. Geno Smith can do everything Stafford can do and withe weapons the Hawks have it should be fun season

Idk...if the run game thrives it will be a great season. Geno will greatly benefit from K9, Charbonnet, Macintosh balling out. 11-6 going into playoffs.

I'm thinking the Hawks will go a very respectable 12-5 to win the division, but I would be happy with 9-8 and a playoff birth.

I think its going to be tougher than most realize, Rams are hungry, 49ers are desperate, the cards are sneaky with Murray being healthy, I am thinking we only win 8-9 games this season and that's a stretch, I don't think we will break 500. this year.
