Whenever I have an argument with my parents I always play the "I never asked to be born!" card. Gets them every time! They know it's true though.

we didn't ask to be born because, in non existence, we didn't feel anything, we didn't want anything, we didn't desire anything, we just didn't care about anything, so we didn't want pleasure because we didn't want anything, we didn't want pain because we didn't want anything, when nothiing exists we don't feel anything, so pleasure was never required as we didn't want anything before we were born, we were just asleep, when we are asleep, we are in a state of nothingness, we don't want anything and we don't feel anything

i mmust agree, i actually never wanted to be born because i didn't ask, because i didn't want anything, i didn't ask anything, i did nothing, if you don't feel nor want anything, why would you want pleasure and pain? we were forced to be brought here, because we didn't want anything

I’ve never asked to be needed, nor did I ask to need. Why?

I kind of get what he is saying. However, I have been born into western society where six weeks after you are born your name is legally registered, your allocated a national number. Then you master walking and talking and before you know it your LEGALLY obliged to be in school. Then, once your an educated worker/tax payer the needs of existing within western society means your on a payroll to meet your obligations of being a debt slave/tax payer to the establishment. I personally dont believe in any gods or religion i believe that religion is a convenient 'truth' humans have created to soften the harsh reality of their own mortality. I dont believe that anyone truly needs me, they will always get by. The needs of living within this false reality for me are too much. I honestly dont know where to turn.

Please, please re-record this without the extremely loud background music, please?

I feel fortunate every day for the wonderful childhood I had. I did not ask to be born but glad I got the parents I did.

The background music is too loud. It’s really hard to hear Rabbi

To every parent that says stuff like "I put a roof over your head, I put food on the table". To the mother and the father. Keep your legs closed and your thing in your pants. Don't be a parent if you can't handle it.

I am a good person and I don't deserve this

I was needed to fulfil my mother's desire to show and prove to society that she could snag a husband even after having her first child out of wedlock with a man who dumped her. She had four kids in total even though she had no spine to stand up to her abusive husband and was not psychologically fit to be a mother

This is stupid because he is saying that we have a need to be needed essentially and a need to not need some paradoxical bs

I'm a 28 year old millennial. I had a horror-filled childhood, where I witnessed the hands of a mentally deranged child severely hurt my younger brother and my mom many times. I didn't "consent" to be born into a world of violence and terror, yet looking back now as a grown man, I wouldn't exchange places to have a different life. Through that level of suffering, YHWH showed me His love and mercy and healed me of the trauma. Now I walk with the same love and mercy towards others. What used to be a horror story is now my prime example of showing YHWH's light.

I choose to live in spite of my childhood suffering.

This is so powerful. God has been leading and guiding me to this understanding but I didn’t communicate this way. I wake up saying “Who am I serving today?”
