Just wanted to add that I know the gorosei are now finally actively challenging Luffy in the manga but even so it has less to do with Luffy's threat level with how close he now is to the one piece and more to do with Vega Punk and what he knows.

In Blackbeard’s introduction he says to Luffy that some things are not worth fighting over. Since his introduction it has been established that there are absolutely circumstances where Blackbeard would be willing to team up.

This theory is terrible, it has massive holes.

You say the world government has the final road poneglyph without talking about the only thing we actually know about its current location, 'the man marked by flames' has it.

You said joyboy had the nika fruit, which seems highly likely from everything we know. Then contradicted yourself by guessing that devil fruit users cant go to laugh tale but joyboy went there. Also, if devil fruits user can't go to laugh tale then luffy can't become pirate king which, just lol. Trying to get round this with "he walks there on a bridge instead of sailing on a ship" makes no sense, does this magic-anti-devil-fruit-force field only work if you're on a ship?


There are a lot of issues with the bridge to laugh tale idea. If its correct then laugh tale has to be in either east blue, south blue, or the first half of the grand line (possible, but you didn't talk about this at all). You would need to know where laugh tale is to build a bridge to it. Why start so far away that it takes over 700 years to get there? How do the world government know where it is without the poneglyphs? Why can't the world government just sail there if they know where it is? The manga states the bridge's purpose as to connect various islands together, do you disagree with this?

You claim the world government controlled/created the devil fruits to fight the lost kingdom yet mentioned nothing about the fact that there are no confirmed world nobles (still living in Mary Geoise) that has ever eaten a devil fruit. They are DEVIL fruits, and the world nobles consider themselves to be literal GODS, it doesn't really fit the vibe they're going for.

Your evidence is very weak and basically amounts to the following. There is a bridge, therefore it will go the laugh tale. Buggy didn't go to laugh tale, therefore no devil fruit user can. A road poneglyph has moved, therefore the world government has one.

Laughtale could make devil fruit users who get too close to it deathly ill like it did to Buggy-- but it would be super ironic for this 25 year continual story with over 1000 chapters to reveal in the end that the main character was disqualified from completing his dream from the very start as Luffy and Robin, the only two who actually care about Laughtale, can't get there.

You said to correct you if you’re wrong, and fishman island was only just recently affiliated with the world government, it was originally owned by whitebeard and then claimed by bigmom after timeskip. There’s no way the WG would’ve messed with whitebeard

One thing that highly supports this Theory is the sentence the 5 Elders said when Luffy turned into JoyBoy the first time.

"There is no Gomu Gomu no mi."

How can they be so sure of that? They would not say it liek this unless they 100% know there is no such fruit. And how do they know for certain, by once having controlled all of them.

I have three issues with this, first the last Road Ponogliph is said to be with ‘The Man Marked By Flames’, on an all black boat that’s surrounded by whirlpools. Second Luffy isn’t the representation of peak haki, that’s Shanks Luffy’s the combination of both devil fruit and haki. Finally, Tachila Wolf doesn’t need to be connected to anything greater than just a reminder of how corrupt the government it.

I think it's the total opposite, i think you have to have luffys DF to activate something on laugh tale island, and thats the reason why Roger laughed, cos he didn't think he would need a DF and that's why he said he arrived too early

Continuing on the world government giving their best officers good devil fruits, garp is one of their strongest marines recorded in history. However, since he doesn’t hold the same ideals as the higher ups and doesn’t want to work directly under them (imu and the celestial dragons) he doesnt have a devil fruit. Only marines loyal to the world government and the celestial dragons would earn devil fruits.
